Process for Hardscape Design/Build
In-Home Consultation
We will walk around your property and discuss your specific needs and vision. Once this is complete, we will provide you with several solutions to accomplish the landscape design you want to achieve.
Materials Selection & Design
If possible, we encourage you to visit our hardscaping vendors to look at the various products that are available. It is important for you to collaborate with us, so that you obtain the products that are the best fit for you and your family.
3D Design Rendering Review
We will present our ideas to you using one or more methods of illustration, such as: Blueprint, Photo Imaging, or SketchUp 3D layout.
Project Proposal
You will be provided with a project proposal. This document will include the details of the scope of work, the materials that have been selected, required deposit amounts, as well as a full pricing overview.
Sign & Schedule Project Date
Once you have approved the design and signed proposal, we will get your project onto our schedule.
Hardscaping FAQ
What is the initial project consultation meeting/call like?
During the initial phone call or meeting we will cover topics such as project scope, budget, style you’re considering (traditional, contemporary, etc.), material selection (if you already have some in mind), and your timeline.
What type of equipment will you be using?
The tools and equipment we use depends on the project but a backhoe, bobcat, laser level, Diamond brick saw, wet saw, sod cutter, and tamper are commonly used for our hardscaping projects.
How long will the project take to complete?
Project duration varies based on the scope of work, so it could be anywhere from 1 week to 6 weeks or more.
Who obtains permits (if needed)?
Usually, the client obtains the permit from their respective township. Our team can assist with this process.
What is your current backlog of time?
The current backlog for hardscape projects is about 6 weeks. This changes constantly, and based on the type of job, we might be able to fit in a smaller job sooner.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required before the project begins.
