To pass this exam is no simple feat. The Certified Arborist must be able to pass a 200-question exam with a minimum 72% passing grade based on the 200+ page text book used for preparation.

These newest certified individuals will join the ranks of our previously credentialed team members of Gerry Impink, Chad Diller, Bob Kandratavich, Carmen Baciotti, Dave Ryan, Gary Lockard, and Matt Fulmer. Currently, Tomlinson Bomberger has 15 Certified Arborists on staff. To maintain the certification, these individuals will need to accumulate 30 Continuing Education Credits over a three year period to renew their credentials. These credits are earned by attending learning opportunities such as seminars with relevant arboricultural educational information.

As a professional tree service company, we thoroughly enjoy promoting certifications such as these for our team members. Certification programs not only give us an opportunity to differentiate our company from that of our competition, but more importantly, it provides opportunities to better train our staff to better serve our clients. The bare minimum just is simply not good enough for our clients!

If you’d like to have a Certified Arborist visit your property to discuss how our tree services could help you, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
